From 2018 to present, I work at Werner Enterprises as a software engineer. Primarily mobile applications (Android and to a lesser extent, iOS) but .NET Core back-end applications more recently.
From 2015 to 2018, I worked in the College of Information Science and Technology (IS&T) at the University of Nebraska at Omaha initially developing, then managing the Computer Science Learning Center (CSLC) link and also worked as an instructor.
From 2007 to 2015, I worked at Gretna High School in Gretna, Nebraska as a science teacher. The main course I taught is a college prep physical science course for freshman. I taught all of the natural sciences during my tenure.
I petitioned for a Rocketry Club in the spring of 2009 and have sponsored the club since. We have an active group of young women and men that launch low-, mid-, and high-powered rockets. We have participated in the AIA Team America Rocketry Challenge for four years. Past members completed degrees at MIT, Embry-Riddle, Dartmouth, UA-Huntsville, UN-Lincoln and other fine higher education institutions.
